writing update: book two of dreams of destiny and new novella coming as mae archer

I love school holidays!!!!! It's such a joy to have my creative juices flowing. Have been firmly focussed on fiction. In writing updates I'm working on the second book in my contemporary romance trilogy, Dreams of Destiny, published as Mae Archer. The first book is Hollywood Dreams, which is out and is being recorded as an audiobook. 

The second is titled Vintage Dreams. I wrote a draft and submitted to my then romance publisher, however they folded. I went back and re-read the draft and there was some tightening of the structure to be done, but the bones are strong and I love the story so much. The cover to this book has also been years in the marking with an image that I bought and wanted to use. So I'm just a few scenes away from having a complete draft and can submit to my proofreader. 

I'm also working on a romance novella for an anthology I'm taking part in with many other romance novelists. This is about summer romance and I'm going to write a series about a family and the first one is a little bit of Romeo and Juliet vibe. I woke up this morning and the first scenes were crystal clear in my mind so I've been experiencing that joy of writing something new and fresh and fun.
