#bipolar sufferers are often preoccupied with delusions about religion or special abilities. As a child I knew there was something different about my mother, but I didn’t know what and our migrant community was not informed about mental illness. Writing my #memoir #thingsnobodyknowsbutme helped me to understand my mother’s medical condition. Find out more about my memoir.
#memoirwriting is about telling a personal story in order to find the universal truth that can help others. If you’re in Melbourne’s West I’m running a memoir writing workshop at Caroline Springs Library, book here. Or join my mailing list to find information about other courses and mentorship opportunities.
