When you are parented by #bipolar sufferer you grow up early. I always felt out of step with my peers who had adults to protect them and give them a childhood. I had grown up being my mother’s defecto carer and always are of consequences because I was subjected to them early on. Writing my #memoir #thingsnobodyknowsbutme helped me to understand my mother’s medical condition. More about my memoir.
#memoirwriting is about telling a personal story in order to find the universal truth that can help others. If you’re in Melbourne’s West I’m running a memoir writing workshop at Caroline Springs Library, book here. Or join my mailing list to find information about other courses and mentorship opportunities.
