6 days to go until my Kickstarter finishes and I’m at $701.

🎙️Today I wanted to talk about why I decided to tell my novel Time Kneels Between from the point of view of my protagonist Seka Torlak—a strong, complex female character navigating the horrors and resilience of wartime.

Here are three key reasons: 
• 📚 Women’s Stories Matter: The novel is told from Seka’s point of view to foreground women’s experiences during the siege—a perspective often overlooked in historical narratives.
• 🔎 A Different Lens on Trauma: By focusing on what life was like for those trapped and besieged, the book explores the endurance, fear, and agency of women living through unimaginable hardship.
• ✍️ A Series with Purpose: This is just the beginning! Books two and three are already written, book four is drafted, and the fifth is plotted. Each instalment will continue to expand on these powerful, untold stories.
